Design generators
fffuel is a stack of free SVG generators for when your design needs texture fast
Gradients, waves, blobs, grain, patterns and shapes: this is the kind of tool folder that saves a boring layout.

This fixes blank-page ugliness
fffuel is basically a box of quick visual starters: gradients, waves, blobs, grain textures, patterns and background shapes. Not life-changing, but genuinely useful.
When a design looks too flat, these little assets can give you movement and texture without hunting through random stock sites.
Where I would use it
Website sections, email headers, printable backgrounds, social graphics, product cards, packaging mockups and boring resource pages. That is the job.
The useful part is speed. Generate, export, test, change the colour, move on. Do not spend three hours drawing a blob unless the blob is paying rent.
For download pages, I would use these assets behind the product preview or CTA, not as the product itself. They should lift the design, not become the whole reason it exists.
The warning
These tools can make every design look like the same trendy SaaS background if you are lazy. Use them as ingredients.
Before using an exported shape, ask what it is doing. Separating sections, adding texture, framing a download, making a header less dead. If it has no job, delete it.
My take: bookmark it. It is not the main meal, but it can rescue a layout when everything feels too white, too empty or too dead. That is enough reason to keep it handy.
